
Dog Walking Assistant Wanted!
Are you a dog lover who enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and spending your day with happy wagging tails?
We’re a boutique dog walking and daycare service based near London Bridge, and we’re looking for a Dog Walking Assistant to join our friendly, professional team.
This role is perfect if you love dogs, are confident around animals, and enjoy being outdoors in all seasons. Previous experience is helpful but not essential – we’ll provide full training to set you up for success.

About the Role
What We Offer

Contract work (Average 5 weekdays per week – weekdays only)

Self-employed position with earnings of up to £2000/month based on experience/booking schedule

A Typical Day With Us
-
8:00 am – Arrive at our premises and plan your day with the team
-
Morning Walks (from 8:15 am) – Walk a mix of daycare dogs and collect dogs from nearby homes (all within walking distance)

Lunch Break – Time to recharge

Afternoon Walks– Similar to the morning walks, managing different groups of dogs

4:00–4:30 pm – Finish up (timings can sometimes slightly vary depending on the day’s schedule)

Your Responsibilities

Keep every dog safe, happy, and healthy at all times
-
Understand and manage each dog’s temperament, whether on walks or in group play

Clean up after dogs and maintain high hygiene standards

Pick up/drop off dogs respectfully from their homes

Ensure dogs are well-behaved in public and do not scavenge or damage property

Walk groups maximum of 5 dogs if needed (after training and as your confidence grows)

Always use leads safely and securely

Dog walking public liability insurance will be provided
Who We’re Looking For
-
A genuine animal lover with strong problem-solving skills
-
Energetic, confident, active, and physically fit (this role requires strength and stamina)

Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
-
Comfortable handling enthusiastic dogs and able to carry a dog if needed

Good communicator (spoken English essential)

Tech-savvy enough to use WhatsApp, share photos, and coordinate with the team

Reliable, with easy access to our SE1 4TX location
-
Eligible to work in the UK and willing to be self-employed
Previous dog-handling experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll train you thoroughly before you work independently.
